Track record
Head of Electrical Team, Monrovia Breweries Inc.
Seconded by Brautec AG (Switzerland) to a brewery producing about 165,000 hl a year with 125 employees. Testimonial from Brautec AG available on request.
- Responsible for the entire electrical department and the four power generation units: preventive maintenance, general overhauls, spare-parts management and monthly reporting.
- Contributed to the planning and implementation of: uninterruptible power supply, empty-bottle inspection system, sugar mixing tank, cleaning-in-place system, distribution centre, heating burner, palletiser, transformer planning for a PET plant, and conversion of the plant's internal supply from 60 to 50 Hz.
- Also implemented: biometric access control and time attendance, Odoo ERP, warehouse and spare-parts control, IT infrastructure (servers, firewall) and remote access to automated systems and the powerhouse.
- Took over the leadership of the mechanics team for four years and covered the Maintenance Manager role during annual leave.
Romlib Logitec: our own engineering company
Selected projects
- Rehabilitation of electrical switchboards and distribution lines at Harper hospital, for Partners In Health.
- Complete electrical installation of the MSF headquarters at Thinkers Village, during the Ebola response.
- Solar panel installation for an NGO at the Ganta Leprosy and TB Rehabilitation Center, Nimba County.
- Repair contracts for cranes and navigation systems on industrial vessels in the ports of Monrovia and Buchanan.
- Automatic transfer switches for residential clients.
Head of Technical Department, Amlib Holdings Plc
Installed and modernised electrical systems at remote jungle camps for a mineral exploration company, including a 100 kW micro-hydro plant.
Resort: electrical rehabilitation and solar feasibility
Paid engineering study covering the rehabilitation of the electrical installation and the feasibility of solar for a resort near Monrovia.
Off-grid pilot, Montserrado County
An integrated farm pilot built to show that small sites can run on their own energy: 3 kW of solar, a biogas generator and a vertical-axis wind turbine, which supported the raising of 800 birds.
Why us
Twelve years in Liberia
Hands-on work since 2011 in industry, mining, health and hospitality, from remote camps to a working brewery.
Plant-wide view
Experience running a whole electrical department, its generation and its spare-parts and reporting, not only installing equipment.
Qualified and trained team
Electrical engineering studies, certified electrician and certified solar installer (Spain). Liberian electricians and an IT engineer trained on real projects.
